Siddu (Kalyan Ram) and Ishika (Ashika Ranganath) are a young couple in love who recently got engaged. But their lives take an unexpected turn after Siddu discovers a man identical to him on the website getdopple. His name is Michael, but it is later revealed that his real name is Bipin Roy.
Siddu and Ishika are shocked to discover that Michael is a criminal wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Michael is wanted for his involvement in a number of crimes, including murder and extortion. Siddu and Manjunath, Siddu’s identical twin, are both determined to find out the truth behind Michael’s identity.
The two brothers team up with Ishika to investigate Michael’s past.Who is Michael here? What history does he have? When Siddharth and Manjunath learned about Michael, what did they do forms the rest of the story.
PERFORMANCE:
Kalyan Ram is no stranger to the big screen. His latest film, Amigos has been well-received by audiences and critics alike. Kalyan Ram plays Michael’s part in the movie, and made an effort to differentiate between the three parts.Kalyan Ram effortlessly performed well in each of the three roles. Siddharth, a cheerful-go-lucky character played by Kalyan Ram, seeks to court the attractive female while leading a comfortable life with his family of parents and sister. He had done the same upbeat, joyful, performance.
The movie revolves around three characters, Michael (Kalyan Ram), Bhanu (Aashika Ranganath), and Raghav (Saptagiri). Kalyan Ram has successfully developed a villainy in his character, and Aashika Ranganath has been cast in a more glamorous role, building strong chemistry during love sequences with Kalyan Ram. Saptagiri and Brahmaji were not feeling well at the time of filming, but the remaining cast appeared to be doing their jobs well.
Overall, Kalyan Ram has made a commendable effort in his performance as an actor. He has certainly taken his acting skills to the next level and has managed to differentiate between the characters. With his impressive performance and the strong chemistry between the characters, Amigos is definitely worth a watch.

The recently released Telugu movie, Amigos, is an action thriller that runs almost entirely on Kalyan Ram’s performance. He stars in three roles: Michael, Manjunath, and Siddharth. Kalyan Ram does an outstanding job of portraying and switching between each character, giving a variety of performance styles. His range of emotions in the film was extraordinary and his portrayal of each character was commendable.
The tension between the protagonist and the adversary, as well as the protagonist’s family, is made clear. The song, Enno Ratrulosthayi, provides a welcomed break from the intensity of the action thriller.
The supporting cast of Amigos also deserves recognition. Ashika Ranganath makes a respectable debut in Tollywood, her Lovely appearance and small job done well. Brahmaji provided Kalyan Ram with great support, his comedic timing making people laugh. Jaya Prakash also does a good job in his role.
Overall, Amigos is an action thriller that proves that Kalyan Ram is an exceptionally talented actor. His performance was impressive, and the supporting cast also did a great job. It is a movie that should not be missed.
NEGATIVES:
Amigos, a movie that features the idea of doppelgangers, failed to deliver a compelling narrative. Although there are some interesting moments, the overall story is mediocre and the first half of the movie is slow and tedious. There are no unexpected turns in the plot and the movie eventually becomes predictable.
The National Investigation Agency (NIA) is presented in a rather poor light, with their inability to apprehend criminals. To make the movie more interesting, more drama could have been built around the main theme. The editing and background soundtrack also failed to meet the required expectation.
However, the second half of the movie picks up, with more intense scenes and a mild interval boom. Despite the flaws of the movie, the idea of doppelgangers is still intriguing. If done well, it could have been an exciting and captivating movie.
