Ajith Kumar has revealed his next project with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan. After finishing Thunivu, it was rumoured that the actor will begin filming for his next film, tentatively titled Ak62. However, according to fresh allegations that have gone viral on the internet, Ajith has pushed his film with Vignesh Shivan and is looking for a new director for AK62.
The precise reasons why there has been a change in director are unknown. There are rumours that Ajith wanted revisions made to the script Vignesh Shivan had provided him. Ajith apparently changed his strategy because the final screenplay wasn’t yet available.
Notably, the director still puts the AK62 project in his biography on his social media account, where he also maintains a list of previous directorials. According to prior rumours, Lyca Productions would be in charge of making AK 62, and Anirudh will be in charge of writing the music. Additionally, it was said that Santhanam will play a supporting part and Arvind Swamy would portray the villain. Santhanam and Ajith previously collaborated on Veeram, and this would be Arvind Swami’s second time collaborating with Ajith. In 1994, they had collaborated on projects for Paasamalargal.
According to sources, Vignesh Shivan will not direct Ajith Kumar’s next film, AK62. The actor is eager to work with another filmmaker. Despite the fact that nothing has been announced, filmmakers such as Atlee, Vishnu Vardhan, and Magizh Thirumeni are being considered to direct AK62.
Ajith appeared enthusiastic about the movie after Magizh Thirumeni narrated him a decent screenplay . Magizh has joined the team, therefore we need to find out who the new cast and music director will be.

Ajith Kumar recently travelled to London, and on January 28 it was revealed that Vignesh will not be a part of AK62. He allegedly met with Lyca Productions after which this information was disclosed. According to reports, director Vignesh has also travelled to London to clarify the matter and make sure his movie is not cancelled.
