STORY:

The story of the movie revolves around Michael, who is a young man from a small village in India. He is a dreamer and an optimist, Michael (Sundeep Kishan), an orphan with no identity in the 1990s, wins the trust of Mumbai mobster Gurunadh (Gautham Menon) by protecting him,As a result, Gurunath orders his goon Swamy (Ayappa Sharma) to raise Michael. After some time, Gurunath is once more saved by Michael, prompting the former to give the latter control of his bar business. What connection does Teera’s (Divyanshu Kaushik) father have to it? Will Michael be able to complete the job? What is the connection with Vijay Sethupathi?

The movie “Michael” is a thrilling ride, full of twists and turns. It follows Michael’s journey as he discovers his identity, navigates the mob-ruled underworld and ultimately triumphs in the end. It is an inspiring story of a young man who, despite all the odds, still manages to follow his dreams and achieve his goals.

PERFORMANCE:

Sundeep Kishan does an excellent job, and his action scenes stand out in particular. Without a doubt, the actor completely changed himself with Michael, giving his finest performance to date. Despite his highly open-minded performance, Michael doesn’t seem to have the strength to provide him the break he so desperately needs.

Although the lead actress, Divyansha Kaushik, had a wonderful role, she didn’t have much of an effect. Varun Sandesh’s part in the movie received a lot of attention before it came out, but aside from the pre-intermission scene, which he does well, his character doesn’t provide anything. In the movie, Anasuya Bharadwaj is assigned a character that is quite similar to the one she has previously played and doesn’t receive anything fresh to perform.

In the movie, Gautham Vasudev Menon plays a substantial part. One would anticipate that Gautham’s character would contribute a lot of gravity given the type of breadth and significance he has, yet he falls well short of that. Due of his lacklustre performance, his character lacks impact. Gautham’s role in the movie is unquestionably miscast. The actors Vijay Sethupathi and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar are utterly underutilised by the director and barely appear briefly in the movie.

TECHNICAL TEAM:

One cannot imagine that this is Kiran Koushik’s debut picture because his cinematography is unquestionably the greatest in recent memory.Kiran Koushik’s debut picture is remarkable, with his cinematography being some of the greatest seen in recent memory. His efforts to elevate this action movie have been successful, creating a visually stunning experience.

Sam CS’s music is also commendable, featuring unique instruments in the background soundtrack, as well as some aesthetically pleasing situational tracks throughout the movie. Ranjit Jeyakodi, the writer-director, was also given a chance to work with Michael, which he blew.

The film’s producers have also invested a lot of money, resulting in excellent production values. The editor has likewise done an admirable job.

In conclusion, Kiran Koushik’s debut picture is a stunning example of artistry, with everyone involved doing their part to make it a success. The cinematography, music, writing, and production values are all of a high quality, making this a movie to watch.

POSITIVES:

Telugu cinema has been witness to an amazing transformation in Sundeep Kishan’s acting. His work in Michael is proof that he is an actor to be reckoned with. Sundeep has done an exceptional job in the action as well as the romantic scenes of the movie. Although he generally doesn’t speak much, he still manages to make a lasting impression.

The chemistry between the leads was very strong and the background music and graphics were top-notch. The movie is undeniably one of the best produced movies in the Telugu film industry. The gloomy undertone of the movie was effectively established and the atmosphere was sustained throughout. The technical team should be applauded for making the movie look so luxurious and sophisticated.

Vijay Sethupathi and Vijaya Lakshmi Sharath Kumar gave their best performances, and their performances added to the quality of the movie. Sundeep Kishan has undergone a remarkable physical change and his work in Michael is a testament to his commitment and hard work. He has established himself as an actor to watch out for and his performance was nothing short of brilliant.

NEGATIVES:

Ranjit Jeyakodi’s latest movie, Michael, has been receiving mixed reviews from critics. Although the film was made with a talented technical team, the lack of a compelling story has left many disappointed.

The plot and script of Michael were largely ignored as the filmmakers opted for a more stylish, glossy approach. Unfortunately, this meant that the essential components of the movie were sacrificed in favor of flashy visuals. As a result, the film is full of dull parts that fail to capture the attention of the audience.

The movie’s failure to deliver on the narrative front has been blamed on Jeyakodi’s inexperience as a writer-director. He missed a great opportunity to make a truly memorable movie, and instead opted for a more superficial approach.

Ultimately, Michael is a missed opportunity. It could have been a great movie if the filmmakers had focused on creating an engaging story as well as stylish visuals. Unfortunately, they failed to do so, and the movie suffers as a result.

VERDICT:

The main issue with “Michael” is its lack of character development. While there are some interesting characters, such as the rival gang leader and the mysterious woman, they are underdeveloped and lack depth. This makes it difficult to connect with them. Furthermore, the movie relies heavily on Sundeep’s transformation to carry the plot, but his acting is superb but fails to make the story engaging to watch.

Though the movie has some redeeming qualities, such as its technical skill and slick graphics, these are not enough to save it. “Michael” is an example of a movie that is more concerned with aesthetic than content. While it has potential, it fails to deliver due to its weak narration and lack of character development.
